“People wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for happiness.” – unknown
The weekend is almost here .. and it’s a long one! We’ll soon wave Summer goodbye but before we do let’s enjoy this last bank holiday before Christmas.
Walk along the beach, join friends for lunch – crisp white wine and salty seafood. An afternoon spent snuggled up with a good book, or take a bike ride along the coastal path. Feel the wind in your hair and return with a glow on your face. Dinner and then watch the sunset from your favourite vantage point. Time for sleep, and dreams of tomorrow .. what will you be doing this weekend?
It’s been one long weekend for me since I’m on vacation! 🙂

Been one long weekend for me since June!! Really must start thinking about the next gig and what I want to do. You sound like you’ve been having a good time this week, anything planned for Saturday/Sunday? 🙂

Yes, what did you fancy? Is there a football game on? I like American football – and I actually understand the rules, or at least I use to. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a game. A bit like rugby only not as rough – your players are too expensive to damage!! Or what about a picnic, outdoor movie something like that .. did you go see Man from UNCLE?

It’s still preseason here, so the football games are boring and don’t count. A picnic would be nice. I haven’t seen that flick yet, either.

Very stylish movie and worth a look if you like that type of thing. Picnic it is then, you choose the place ..

Our traditional holiday, Labor Day, falls on the first Monday of September, making seem very late this year. Enjoy your holiday and love the photos!
